End User License Agreement (EULA): Individual Licence

This licence is related to digital files included with selected printed kits (methodkit.com) as well as digital kits only (digital.methodkit.com).

Summary of terms

By downloading or using the Digital Assets you accept this Agreement.
If you don’t agree, don’t download or use the files.

What you’re free to do

✅ Use the kit on online whiteboards and workspace tools like Notion, Mural, and Miro.
✅ Add the kit to slide decks such as Google Slides or PowerPoint.
✅ Include the kit in forms (e.g., Google Forms) or online polls (e.g., Mentimeter).
✅ Show the kit in live or recorded presentations.
✅ Print cards for your own use.

Nice to have

✌🏼 We’d love a quick credit or mention whenever you showcase the kit.

What you may not do

🚫 Sell, give away, share, or redistribute the kit without our permission.
🚫 Modify, adapt, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from the kit.
🚫 Host the digital cards on more than three individual accounts unless you purchase an additional license.

Complete terms

1. Definitions

• “MethodKit” means MethodKit AB, based in Sweden. Organisation number 556811-6718.
• “Digital Assets” means any MethodKit card decks or related artwork delivered as digital files together with any accompanying documentation.
• “End-User” or “you” means the individual or single named facilitator who purchased the licence.

By downloading or using the Digital Assets you accept this Agreement. If you don’t agree, don’t download or use the files.

2. Grant of Licence – What you may do ✅

MethodKit grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

1. Store & back-up the Digital Assets on your own devices or secure cloud drive.
2. Import the cards into digital whiteboards or slide decks (e.g., Miro, Mural, FigJam, PowerPoint) for workshops you facilitate.
3. Show the cards live, on-screen or via screen-sharing, to workshop participants, students or colleagues.
4. Print a reasonable number of low-resolution copies (e.g., hand-outs or sticky-notes) solely for participants in those workshops.
5. Use boards or PDFs that embed the cards with workshop participants for follow-up reflection provided the original files can’t be extracted.

Unless a multi-seat licence is stated on your invoice, the permissions above apply to one named person. If more people need to work directly with the Digital Assets, please buy additional seats or an organisation licence at methodkit.com.

3. Use Restrictions – What you may NOT do 🚫

1. Redistribution or resale
   • Don’t publish, post, upload, sell, give away or otherwise distribute the source files (or high-resolution exports) outside the licensed team.
2. Derivative products
   • Don’t alter card artwork or text, remove logos, recolour icons, or turn the cards into a new toolkit, app, template, or other product.
3. Public publishing
   • Don’t upload full decks to public websites, social media, books, or learning platforms. (Up to five cards may be shown for illustration in presentations, articles or portfolios, so long as MethodKit is credited.)
4. Transfer of licence
   • You can’t pass the licence to a friend, client, or another organisation without written consent from MethodKit.
5. Unlawful or inappropriate use
   • The Digital Assets may not be used in defamatory, pornographic, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful contexts.

4. Copyright & Ownership

All intellectual-property rights in the Digital Assets remain the sole property of MethodKit AB. You’re buying a licence to use the files, not ownership of the content itself. All MethodKit names and logos are protected trademarks and must stay intact on every card.

5. Warranty

MethodKit warrants that the Digital Assets are free from defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase. If a defect appears within that 90-day window, MethodKit will, at its sole discretion, replace the defective files or refund the licence fee. This remedy is exclusive. MethodKit makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. MethodKit isn’t liable for general, special, direct, or indirect damages arising from the use of the Digital Assets.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MethodKit isn’t liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages (including lost profits or business interruption). In any event, MethodKit’s total aggregate liability under this Agreement will not exceed the amount you paid for the licence.

7. Termination

This licence terminates automatically if you breach any clause. Upon termination you must immediately delete all copies of the Digital Assets and stop using them. Sections 4–8 survive termination.

8. Governing Law & Venue

This Agreement is governed by Swedish law. All disputes shall be settled by the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.

9. Refunds

Because digital products can’t be “returned,” licences are non-refundable once the download link has been accessed.
