WHY METHODKIT FOR BATHROOM DESIGN?
Bathroom, WC, powder room, the John, the loo, the closet, the ladies room – there seem to be as many names as there are ideas of what a great bathroom is.
What are the most important aspects and qualities you look for in a bathroom? We wanted to make the process of planning, designing and building bathrooms easier. We do not tell you what to have in the space, our idea is rather to provide a visual checklist to start conversations with loved ones, to talk to contractors and to visualize the process from idea to finish – that first well deserved bath or shower.
MethodKit for Bathroom Design contains 60 cards, each representing an important aspect, action or stage in the (sometimes unnecessarily) long process from ideation to realization. While some bathroom planner tools have the tendency to impose set solutions, or recommend certain products, our purpose was to simply create a visual overview for your own ideas to develop.
Cards that help you plan, visualize and build great bathrooms. By creating a visual overview you can be able to discuss important spaces, qualities and features. What are the daily routines? Is the bathroom a shared space? Keep it in arms reach when discussing with contractors and tradespeople, for planning and prioritizing and as a personal checklist in the process.
