WHY METHODKIT FOR KITCHEN DESIGN?
The kitchen is the heart of many homes. It is where you gather, share meals and often where most guests will end up. It can also be one of the most expensive areas in any house to renovate or redesign. What makes a kitchen great? How will needs change? What are the most important ingredients in not just building a kitchen but understanding how you use it?
We wanted to create a tool that gives a visual overview for your own ideas, and a shared language for discussions with your family, contractors or tradespeople. A tool that provides structure to your thoughts without imposing direction, MethodKit for Kitchen Design is as useful to the professional as it is to the beginner.
The kit contains 59 cards, each representing a significant aspect, action or stage in the (sometimes unnecessarily) long process from ideation to sitting down to a meal. A tool that helps you plan, visualize and build great kitchens. By creating a visual overview without suggesting set solutions you have space for your own ideas to develop.
